Here here! Thanks guys for hanging in there over the years to see this through. Many lesser teams, and lesser COMPANIES, fall to the wayside long before they get this far.

I was thinking of doing a 1:1 duplicate as a trailer. We'd have to use the season 1 planets version.

Well one of my goals was to reproduce the opening trailers of the show via in game render... but I think we'll have to wait until we have the Scriptable Animation system ready in the Evolved Engine.

Voyager's opening should prove the most challenging graphically!

Nice work spoondawg!   The more videos the better I say! :)

I think once you do the revision this should go on the wall.

Seeing screen shots is awesome but seeing a video is a whole new awesome :D :D

This system I want to know more about!  What will the Scriptable Animation system entail?  How will the code itself be structured?  Do I need to be a genius programmer like all of you guys to need to be able to use it?

Thanks guys :D glad you liked it, Heres what I could recreate as per the limitations of the model viewer (ie camera scripts etc) but I hope you all enjoy!

I liked that version alot. Dont know why but seeing the Generation opening always makes me feel warm a fuzzy inside lol . The other openings just dont do that for me. I guess it has to do with Generations being the first Star Trek show I saw, after that I saw the original I liked it even though it was well before my time. The fight scenes were epic. After that it was a bit of voyager and Deepspace nine but I never did see them all. Never did watch Enterprise.

wow, that's wonderful work. Certainly shows us how much can be wrought with the NFX Viewer...
I wonder about the starting credits of the other shows. ;)

Woot, thanks fellas! I'm glad you guys enjoyed it, I definitely had fun making it - just imagine what we can make when these guys finish the game =) its amazing to think its only in pre-alpha and we can do stuff like this already. I'm a total newb at this too, I'm glad vegas was as straight forward as it was - Imagine if someone had intermediate or "leet" skills, we'd probably be even more gaga haha!

For me its either Patrick Stewarts uber-voice or the TNG music - just gets the heart pumpin' faster somehow lol =)

Yeah the voyager theme would probably be the hardest like Mike said, but oh man would it look good, but the one im looking forward to the most I think would be the DS9 opener. I'd really like to see the wormhole appear behind the station in NanoFXevolved =)
