Didn't there used to be an update every week about the time I first joined, then it turned to every fortnight and then just seemed to fade altogether. Not complaining, just taking a trip down memory lane :)

Yea I think every Sunday of the week they would try and get an update. I don't really care cause I know there working as hard as they can. What I would like though is to see all the old post from the old website transfered here to the new website, they just need a PR guy and then I'm sure updates will be more regular. Maybe Major D should volunteer lol   :D

I'd rather wait until he stops posting in binary before giving him a PR job :D

You all do realise that the devs would like to keep the fans etc in the loop as much as possible but regarding the fact that they still need to deal with jobs and real life, it really isn't a priority if this project wants to be finished by any timescale they may have.

Game developers (including The Excalibur Team) don't need to update the public with anything if they don't want to, so in line with the many other discussions on this subject, I think the point has been well made and the position of wanting regular updates has been made clear.

That is not entirely correct.  They do have a time scales.  That is important.  It keeps the team focused on job completions and project accomplishments/milestones.

I will say this much.  A big milestone is on the way.  This one should be worth the wait.  If the time scale holds to near what I have been told, then this milestone will be a spectactular one!

Nice, I am looking forward to this milestone update. :D  I've been trying to help get this game more exposure by posting a thread about it, in the gaming section of the biggest notebook review site called NotebookReview.com. The link to the page is here http://forum.notebookreview.com/gaming-software-graphics-cards/496971-star-trek-excalibur-upcoming-pc-game.html. If any of you guys are current members there, and would like to contribute to it, or correct anything, I'd be happy to see you there and hear some input.

Looking at the feedback Crylo,it looks like you caught quite a few peoples attention.  See, that is what will sell this game.  You can spend a ton of money on advertising, or you can get a good word out and peek people's curiosity.  Although I am not part of the team, I thank you!  I have a few places I may go to spread the word when the time comes.   8)
