« on: July 20, 2009, 06:06:22 AM »
Just a quick word to say that I have reorganised and updated the downloads section, there are now more signatures and wallpapers to chose from along side the previous selection.

Please check out the new downloads page here.

yes indeed, i ripped some crazy high-resolution textures from the nasa website and plonked them into the game. at 8192x4096 a pop they arent what I would call game legal but they do look nice.

Dont worry folks, we will talk about the final in game planets when we get there :)

we cant answer that question right now in a way that makes sense, but if you fancy a riddle the answer is "they wont be".

What are you using to edit the dds files? You might need a plug in for the software your using.
"Using the system( "PAUSE" ) call in C++ is like using a bulldozer to open your front door. It works, but the key is cleaner, easier, and cheaper."

Ive got the plug in its just when i try to save it says

"DDS: It appears your image may be a volume map,
but not all layers are the same size, thus a volume
map cannot be written."

maybe its the fact that im using free software , GIMP 2.6 if anyone wants to know.

But otherwise its good for modifying .tga and .png and other files
